Install Jelly Bean 4.1.2 on Samsung Galaxy S Plus I9001

Good news for Samsung Galaxy S Plus. Earlier I had covered how to install Ice Cream Sandwich on the S Plus and now the Jelly Bean update is here. Not just 4.1.1 but 4.1.2. The sad thing though is that the ROM which runs on 4.1.2 for the S Plus is still in alpha stage which means it will have a few bugs as the developer Doomsday94 from XDA mentions. But the good thing is that development is still going on and we can expect more updates for this ROM and soon a full functional stable version.

Most things of everyday use such as Calls, Audio, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth etc. work fine. But the camera doesn't work and so does not the GPS(It is only an alpha version).

This Jelly Bean 4.1.2 ROM is based on CyanogenMod 10. The ROM works well on the S Plus with the exception of the a fore mentioned camera and GPS. Being a custom ROM you will need to have Clockwork Mod Recovery Installed to install this ROM and your device had to be rooted.

The ROM that is DoomNexus as dubbed by the developer requires the following specifications to be installed.
