Install Jelly Bean 4.1.2 on Samsung Galaxy R i9103

The Jelly Bean 4.1.2 update is here for Samsung Galaxy R users. The ROM which I am talking about is still only in alpha stages but that just means it has a few bugs. XDA developer Adam77Root has been working on the ROM and now it is out. If you have the time head on down to the forum page and give him a thanks.

The ROM which is based on CyanogenMod 10. Most things work fine on the ROM such as calls, Messaging, Wi-Fi etc. which means you could probably use it on a day to day basis but if you use your camera a lot then you will really have a problem with this ROM because like most ROMs in alpha stages the camera doesn't work(at least not yet), but there is no need to give up hope because development is still going on and the camera app will soon be fixed on the Galaxy R.

Here a much more detailed account about what works and what doesn't on the ROM

What works:
- Mobile network
- Data connection
- Audio (microphone may or may not work)
- Wi-Fi
- Video player (may or may not work)
- Accelerometer, orientation, magnetic field, light, proximity, battery temperature sensors and gyroscope (the latter is still buggy)
- BLN feature (you need either the free or the paid version of BLN Control from Play Store)
- Auto brightness needs manual workaround. (See later.)

What doesn't work:
- Camera (even the app isn't included)
Bluetooth
