Install Jelly Bean mod Next2ICS on Galaxy Y S5360

Everyone have been waiting for Google to release Android 4.1 a.k.a Jelly Beam on their phones, but sadly Google has released Jelly Bean for their Nexus Prime and others have been waiting for it. Most devices still run Gingerbread and only about 10% has ICS. A very low fraction of total Android users have Jelly Bean on their phones now. But XDA has always come up with a solution for devices like Galaxy Y which might not get Jelly Bean not so soon in the future. XDA member AvijithGhosh 82 has created a custom ROM for Galaxy Y which brings some Jelly Bean make over to Samsung Galaxy Y S5360.

So this is not a CM10 version or official Jelly Bean that Samsung released. This is just a custom ROM which gives you the looks and some functionality of Jelly Bean. Do not mistake this as an official update for your Galaxy Y.  You can start installing it if you fulfill the requirements given below else don't proceed. You might brick your phone.

Disclaimer: We are not responsible if you destroy your phone due to negligence.. You will also void your warranty by doing this. Sorry.

But no one have any problems with the Phone app. I have contacted the developer and I am waiting for the fix. There are a lot of antivirus in play store. I think AVG has a free version. Try it.

In the mean time, you can try out the creed ROM which is less buggy
