The Jelly Bean 4.1.2 update is here for Samsung Galaxy R users. The ROM which I am talking about is still only in alpha stages but that just means it has a few bugs. XDA developer Adam77Root has been working on the ROM and now it is out. If you have the time head on down to the forum page and give him a thanks.

Install Jelly Bean 4.1.2 on Samsung Galaxy S Plus I9001
Good news for Samsung Galaxy S Plus. Earlier I had covered how to install Ice Cream Sandwich on the S Plus and now the Jelly Bean update is here. Not just 4.1.1 but 4.1.2. The sad thing though is that the ROM which runs on 4.1.2 for the S Plus is still in alpha stage which means it will have a few bugs as the developer Doomsday94 from XDA mentions. But the good thing is that development is still going on and we can expect more updates for this ROM and soon a full functional stable version.

Jelly Bean on LG Optimus One P500 with CyanogenMod 10 install guide
The LG Optimus One is not really a device you expect to get Jelly Bean since it is a really old device but nonetheless it is here. It is not an official release or anything but it is CyanogenMod 10 and usually most builds work well. CyanogenMod 10 is based on jelly bean and it will give you more than what a stock jelly bean firmware can. There are some buys because the ROM is still in development, if you can live with those then this is something you should try flashing in your phone. This ROM also has features like bravia engine, lag free UI, more performance and tweaks etc.

Install Jelly Bean on LG Optimus Black P970
LG's Optimus Black was not on the list of LG's devices to get Android 4.0 ICS or the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean updates. With LG focusing on strategies to conquer the smartphone market dominated by Samsung and maybe Apple too, a lot of their previous devices missed out support officially. But XDA Developers never disappointed us if we have an android phone :). You can get the latest Android 4.1 OS on your LG Optimus Black P970 by installing the famous Cyanogenmod 10 which will bring Jelly Bean for your phone. Jelly Bean has a lot of cool features like project butter, Google Now, better UI than Gingerbread and lot more!
